Being Specific

Do you realize if you started (truly started) to work with the last 4 thoughts of the week your life has probably taken a dramatic shift in the direction of your dreams. It doesn’t take that much to change the course of your life but it does take something!
 
Thought of the Week:
If you are not specific on who you want to BE, don’t be surprised if you come to find out you don’t know who YOU are!
 
Action Step:
Do you have a journal? You should start one. Check out this video to help get you started.
 
There are two key words that get misrepresented in discussions about success and self. Before you can do anything you must first BE. BEING is a state of mind that influences the way you act. BEING is the deep roots within you. BEING is that sixth sense, the values (good and bad) that are woven into the very fabric that is you. Change BEING and the outside world automatically changes.
 
This is the challenge and why so many people don’t know who they are and where they are going. They think, or want to believe, the change is outside them and so that is where they go to work. You know many of these people…they say things like: if I could just get a break; if my boss would just let me; if the government would just give me; if I didn’t have to work so much I would; If my wife/husband would just; if my parents weren’t so; if the economy was better my business would; etc. etc.
 
If this is you, even some of the time, I suggest you stop it because the more you BE like this the more it becomes you and guess where you are then. Start becoming aware of who you are and write down who you want to BE.

Life is Fair

I hope you had an awesome weekend! Here is your thought for the week and action step. Take time to think about these thoughts and how they can help improve your life.
 
Thought of the Week:
Life is fair and just because YOU created it!
 
Action Step:
Understanding this quote gives you power over your life…all aspects of it. You have to be willing to walk through the false fire to come out unburned. But, we get comfortable in our lives and it becomes easier to complain and cry wolf. The only problem is the wolf of your life is you!
 
The key to changing your life is to just start somewhere. Most people don’t start within because they need external approval that is works. That is like standing in front of a cold fire place demanding that it show you fire and heat and then, only then, will you put firewood in it and light it.
 
This week seek to move from the “reasons” side of life to the “cause” side. Life happens. However, if you focus on what you could have done differently or better, or whatever, instead of what someone did or didn’t do to you or for you, then you move to the cause side of life and the is where one becomes empowered and there is where change that you want becomes possible.

The First Step in…

Thought of the Week:
The first step in change is not an outside movement but an inside decision. The outside movement comes from inside belief!
 
Action Step:
Decide to make a change within and then take action steps in line with that decision. That is belief in what you have decided. The other side of it is despair where you take action not out of belief that it will work but out of desperation that it may work. Just be careful who and what you believe when in desperation mode – trust yourself more! Believe in your decision by taking action on them!!
 
What is one decision you can make today/this week internally that you can then take action steps to bring it forth externally?

Empower people to…

Some thoughts for you to ponder, implement or just share. These ideas have changed my life and I know will do the same for you.

Empower people to change by first changing yourself!
 
Action Step:
Taking action on the thought above is never about anyone else but you. Actually, whether other people change or not is irrelevant. The only focus you should have is within you and because of that your external situations, experiences and people in your life will change.
 
What is one thing you can be aware of today (this week) that you can change? Small steps create huge results. Huge steps create sore ankles, shaky knees and doubt unless you are truly ready to leap!

LIVE CALL REPLAY: HAPPINESS IS CHEAP!

What a great call we had last Wednesday night. You guys rock! Keep it real and keep it going…there comes a time in everyone’s life when they have to make a critical decision: “Walk My Own Path To Greatness” or “Follow The Crowd To Mediocrity”.
